Crucible

The amount of incredible, reasonably priced theatre here is astounding. After Twelfth Night, we headed back through the park to Waterloo. We stopped by some souvenir shops on the way.

Lauren had noticed a cute little cafe the other day so we headed there for dinner. When we got there, we realized they only served desert and pastries. Tanner got a chocolate covered almond mound cake and a slice of toffee apple crumb cake which I sampled. Another local patron told us these were the best cakes in London. We headed back toward the station to find real food and stopped on the corner in cute fifties diner for fish and chips. When we were leaving, one of the restaurant employees asked us to take this picture with their logo for their Facebook page.
After dinner, Tanner and I stopped by McDonalds for some white coffee and somehow wandered across the Old Vic, where we would see the Crucible that night. We found a Costa down the street and met Lauren and Dagny. Our seats for the show were on the far left side of the theatre and set up like benches. Since were on the back row, Tan and I stood the whole time. Richard Armitage was lovely and I didn't notice that the show was over three hours.
