Kingston Orientation

Most of us woke up at 5 am today and couldn't fall back asleep. Getting closer to the UK sleep schedule. Tanner and I walked to Costa, a popular coffee chain across the street from Starbucks. The Coffee Cooler was delicious! At 10 am, some Kingston faculty members escorted us to the actual campus for orientation. We officially met all the people who have been emailing us about our trip. They're all so kind with great senses of humor. For lunch I had a cheese and Branson pickle sandwhich. It was interesting to say the least. After lunch they took us on a tour of the Kingston area. Kingston is famous for its ancient market which is a beautiful, old market place with permanent shops as well as lots of local pop-up shops. We stopped by the Bentall Centre, a large mall in Kingston. We finished up some business with the health centre and enrollment then went on a tour of the library, which is very high tech and strangely loud. The university planned a make-a-mate at a local pub, but a few of us are going to try to head into the city to  try to student rush a show.
